Terms & Conditions
- 01 The Gift Card is redeemable only on District and Razorpay-approved platforms, including the District website, app, offline stores or eligible District affiliate platforms.
- 02 The Gift Card can be purchased on the Platform using UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card and Internet Banking.
- 03 The Gift Card is issued by Razorpay and is governed by the applicable terms and conditions for Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPIs).
- 04 The purchaser can add the Gift Card to their District Money balance using the “Claim” option.
- 05 The Gift Card is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.
- 06 The Gift Card cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.
- 07 The Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash or credit and cannot be reloaded.
- 08 In case an order is canceled, the Gift Card amount will be refunded to the source account.
- 09 All taxes, duties, levies or other statutory charges applicable in connection with the benefits of the Gift Card shall be borne by the purchaser.
- 10 The purchaser is solely responsible for the safety and security of the Gift Card. District and Razorpay are not responsible if the Gift Card is lost, stolen or used without permission.
- 11 Once the Gift Card has been claimed, no refund can be issued against the Gift Card.
- 12 Razorpay assumes no responsibility for the products or services purchased using the Gift Card.
- 13 Razorpay reserves the right to cancel the Gift Card if it is found to have been purchased through fraudulent means or if the beneficiary/KYC details are incorrect or insufficient as per applicable RBI guidelines.
- 14 District and/or Razorpay may be required to share purchaser KYC details or other transaction-related information with RBI or other statutory authorities as required under applicable regulations.
- 15 District will consider requests for blocking of Gift Cards only from registered District users.
- 16 The purchaser may request revalidation of an expired Gift Card. Revalidation may be provided after due verification by District and Razorpay in accordance with applicable PPI guidelines.
- 17 In case of any conflict between these Gift Card terms and any other terms made available on the Platform, these Gift Card terms shall prevail.
- 18 Razorpay reserves the right to modify, extend, withdraw or discontinue the Gift Card terms at its sole discretion without prior notice.
- 19 These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru.
- 20 Gift Card PPIs can be redeemed toward eligible products and services only on www.district.in and the District mobile application.
